7.12. Semenawa in semi suspension
This workshop is designed for those interested in exploring the seme side of kinbaku: playing with pressure, control, and psychological intensity. This workshop is conducted without the traditional TK (hands-tied-behind-the-back harness).
Semenawa, means “tormenting rope” in Japanese, which refers to a style of tying that emphasizes both physical and emotional challenge. In this class, we’ll approach the concept from both technical and theoretical perspectives: learning specific ties suited to this style, and engaging in reflective discussion around topics like safety, negotiated suffering, and how to make intentional choices in collaboration with our partner.
Suspension lines are powerful tools for introducing intensity, structure, and control into a scene. In this workshop we study how we can use uplines in semisuspension setting to create intensity. You’ll also learn a specific upper body harness that forms the foundation of all our demonstration ties.
The workshop will cover:
Upper body harness used in all demonstrations (and possible modifications for that)
Info dummausta semenawasta vähän, joku mini historia pläjäys
2-3 semenawa semisuspensio demoa ja harjoitukset näiden jälkeen
