Content:
We open the weekend with a playful shibari challenge from within the ropes. This event starts with warming up using asymmetric restriction of arms or legs and sweetly thrusting, scuffling and mingling with your partner in crime. Once rules and personal boundaries are formulated, we will venture into the fight club score together and release our spicy group adrenaline.
Mats and some blankets will be provided in the space. If you like more softness around your joints please bring knee pads (we can provide some). And just for fun you can bring boxing bandages or a costume to dress up.
Content includes:
Gently playing with resistance (partner exercise)
Technical input: versions of futomomo and chicken-wings
Testing resistance + restriction
Group score + maybe sound / music
Participants need to enjoy a group vibe while being physical in ropes, watching is also fine.
Experience level:
Everybody welcome.
If you want to actively tie please bring 5 ropes.

We will pre-tie ropes samples/harnesses on taller, bigger bodies, on chairs, or initial parts of the body to be re-used. By dressing and making them fit to other body (-parts). Or by understanding how to think shibari modular as improvisational flow unfolds. With some phantasy, increasing rope tension and surprises for both rigger and partner we search the collaborative drive, instead of the classical protocol. Combining different tying styles opens fun new sensations when mixing basic principals, rigorous friction and a creative drive freely.

In this workshop we sensually prepare the skin for the tying moment. Separating a possible foreplay from the actual rope practice in a step by step approach: at working with touch and different degrees of pulling the skin to expand the mind before getting technical and using rope to lean inward.
We will learn a multifunctional hip-harness for semi-suspension and basic uplines to experiment simple silent floating, or kinky self-explorations.
Experience level:
Light intermediate, basic techniques and uplines should be known.
Participants shall enjoy having skin contact with their tying partner and work with compression and consensual pulling of the skin.
Please bring 6-8 ropes.

In this class we will connect systems of consequent restriction with systems of movement. Dasniya will open her longtime dancers tool box adding a dynamic take to traditional shibari vocabulary. A hands-free harness will serve as the anchor point and shift the top-bottom vibe into playfully and intimately dancing with your partner in space.
Experience level:
Participants need to be curious about how to guide their partner in space via movement and ropes. Dance experience is not necessary.
Please bring 6-8 ropes.

By repeating Japanese inspired technique: futomomo, gote and potentially semi-suspension, we will look at different temporalities while tying. We’ll explore considering the preparation time before a bondage ritual. Also we’ll be connecting individual rhythms of rope from slow binding to mid tempo or speed tying, and also talking about ‘crip time‘ -constellations. How can experimenting with tempo, rhythm and rope translate intimate desires into a groovy session? Or, how can we embrace our anti-groove?
